New graveyard comes up in Badhaal
Rajouri, Jan 18: In a heart-wrenching turn of events, the families of victims in Badhaal village of Rajouri have established a new graveyard after the mysterious deaths of 16 people in just one and a half months.
The village, located in the Kotranka sub-division of Rajouri district in Jammu and Kashmir, has been left shocked and traumatised.
The victims, all from three different families, have left behind a trail of grief and unanswered questions.
In one among these three families, Muhammad Aslam, Head of one family lost five of his children, as well as his uncle and aunt who had adopted him (Aslam).
The family's ancestral graveyard in the village has run out of space, forcing them to establish a new graveyard on their own agricultural land, said Mohammad Zaheer Gorsi, a local.
As the villagers struggle to come to terms with the loss of their loved ones, the air is thick with grief and uncertainty.
The establishment of the new graveyard serves as a sharp reminder of the devastating impact of the tragedy on the community.
