The ZOOL annual festival saw a significant addition with the introduction of a discourse at the Aishmuqam shrine during the Zain Shah Urs. Sufi scholars, practitioners, and activists from across India gathered for this event, attended by educators, civil society members, administrators, and students. Speakers emphasized the importance of following the Sufi way of life, highlighting its role in promoting love and harmony amidst global conflicts. A devotee, Ashima Kaul, commended the Sufi movement in Aishmuqam for revitalizing co-existence in Kashmir and emphasized the inclusive nature of Sufism, which embraces people of all faiths. Kaul, a renowned woman peacemaker and devotee of Hazrat Sakhi Zain Shah (RA), expressed her sense of acceptance and inclusion as a Kashmiri Pandit within the Sufi community.
