Ganderbal, Aug 29: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (JKNC) vice president, Omar Abdullah on Thursday made his first visit to Ganderbal two days after his party announced his candidacy for the Assembly constituency.

Talking to reporters, Omar said that he has never taken any election for granted, especially after his defeat from the north Kashmir Parliamentary constituency in the recently held Lok Sabha elections. He was overpowered by the jailed political leader and Member of Parliament, Er. Rashid.
