NC workers in Handwara celebrate Chowdry Mohammad Ramzan's victory in RS polls

Handwara, Oct 24: Jubilant scenes were witnessed at Main Chowk Handwara Friday evening as National Conference (NC) workers from Handwara and adjoining areas celebrated the victory of senior party leader Chowdry Mohammad Ramzan, who was elected as a Member of the Rajya Sabha earlier in the day.

Party workers organised a “Jashn-e-Handwara” programme following the announcement of the results.

The gathering was marked by slogans, sweets distribution, and expressions of joy and pride. Speaking on the occasion, NC workers said that the victory of Chowdry Ramzan is a big achievement for the sub-district Handwara as well as the frontier district Kupwara. "We are proud to see our senior leader representing the region in the Rajya Sabha," they added.
