NC stands for democracy, dignity: Rattan Lal Gupta

Jammu, May 29: Rattan Lal Gupta, Provincial President of National Conference (NC), today said that his party stands for democracy, development and dignity of Jammu and Kashmir people.

According to a press release, he was addressing a party function here. Kuldeep Raj Sharma of BJP officially joined the NC the function. Gupta said, “Under the dynamic and visionary leadership of Omar Abdullah, the National Conference is fast emerging as a powerful and resurgent political force in Jammu and Kashmir. Our party is firmly rooted in the principles of democracy, development, and dignity for all.”

The senior NC leader criticised the BJP for what he termed as “a decade of divisive, deceptive, and directionless politics,” accusing the party of betraying the trust of the people of J&K.
