NC stands by its word, every promise will be fulfilled: Tanvir Sadiq
Srinagar, Aug 3: In a determined push to expedite ongoing development and address public grievances at the grassroots level, MLA Zadibal and National Conference Chief spokesperson, Tanvir Sadiq, held a series of back-to-back Halqa and Mohalla-level meetings across various localities, including Jogilanker Rainawari and the Hazratbal Dargah area, said a statement.
Addressing the public, Tanvir Sadiq said the National Conference was committed to the promises made in its manifesto, emphasizing that the party stands firmly by its 12 guarantees and 26 key pledges. “People have given us a mandate for five years, not five months or one year,” he said, urging citizens to remain patient and assured that every promise will unfold systematically, as per a press statement.
Tanvir said the party leadership is working tirelessly to translate commitments into action. He called upon people to trust the NC, describing it as the only credible force capable of leading Jammu and Kashmir out of its current quagmire. Expressing hope for the future, he sounded optimistic about the return of statehood, asserting that the real change will begin the day people are restored their rightful status.
Responding to longstanding public demands, he announced the renovation of the Community Hall at Dargah, repair of the pathway leading to the Fisherman Colony, restoration of two Mehrabs of the Hazratbal Dargah, along with multiple lanes and drains in the locality. These projects are being financed through the Constituency Development Fund (CDF), with additional proposals submitted under the Capex Budget to various departmental heads.
