NC Rajya Sabha MPs call on Vice President Radhakrishnan

Srinagar, Dec 11: Newly elected Jammu & Kashmir National Conference Rajya Sabha members Chowdhary Mohammad Ramzan, Sajjad Kichloo and Shammi Oberoi on Thursday called on Vice President of India CP Radhakrishnan.

A statement issued here said that the delegation extended warm greetings and conveyed their congratulations to the Vice President on assuming office.

During the meeting, the MPs apprised him of key developmental challenges facing the people of Jammu & Kashmir. They highlighted gaps in infrastructure, limited economic opportunities and the urgent need to accelerate progress across critical sectors.

They also briefed the Vice President on the broader situation in the region, stressing the importance of targeted interventions to address persistent issues affecting public welfare.

The Vice President acknowledged the concerns raised and assured the delegation of his support. He noted the significant development potential of Jammu & Kashmir and emphasised the need for sustained efforts to promote growth and prosperity in the region.
