Kangan, May 8: Apni Party President, Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari today termed both the National Conference (NC) and People’s Democratic Party (PDP) as the two sides of same coin who desire to continue their family and dynastic rule in Jammu and Kashmir.

However, he expressed hope that the people will not allow these two traditional parties to exploit them any longer.

Bukhari was addressing public rallies at Kangan and Ganderbal in support of the party candidate. He said the leaders of NC and PDP are greedy and not different from each other. Apni Party's candidate for Srinagar parliamentary seat Muhammad Ashraf Mir also addressed the gathering.

Apni Party’s President reiterated the party’s intention to provide 500 units of free electricity to domestic consumers across Jammu and Kashmir. He also stated that if given mandate, his party’s  government would provide relief to people living below the poverty line by addressing their outstanding electricity bills. Bukhari promised that his government would ensure the return of jailed youth to their homes, allowing them to resume their normal lives with their families.

He reiterated  Apni Party's agenda for the better future of the younger generation. Bukhari said, “Unlike traditional parties, Apni Party does not mislead people through emotional narratives or fake promises. Our politics is  rooted in truthfulness and integrity. Our goal is to work for the peace, prosperity, and development of Jammu and Kashmir. We want a better future for our young generation.”

He added that if Apni Party gets the public mandate to serve, “we will ensure economic and political empowerment of the people.” “We will focus on the economic prosperity of the people. We will create infrastructure and employment opportunities for the youth,” Bukhari said. He alleged that only negligible number of unemployed people got opportunities to work in the construction of twin tunnels coming up in Ganderbal district. Apni Party President said that local employment should have been priority for the local leadership as well as the construction companies. He appealed to people to vote for Mohammad Ashraf Mir, the party candidate for Srinagar in the Lok Sabha polls.
