Srinagar, Sep 20: National Conference leader and Arin Block Vice President, Mohammad Sarwar Lone, along with his supporters joined hands with former Minister and ex MLA Bandipora, Usman Majid, a press release said.

Lone and his supporters were warmly welcomed by Usman Majid and Zonal President Ghulam Hassan Lone, Urf Bilal. Majid expressed hope that Lone's entry would strengthen the party at the grassroots level.

Majid said that the addition of Lone and his supporters would bring valuable insights and energy to their political journey. He emphasised that his doors are always open to those who wish to contribute to the welfare of Bandipora. "We will benefit from his experience in public service," Majid added.

On the occasion, Lone expressed his belief that by joining forces with Usman Majid, he would make a significant contribution to the progress of Bandipora. He pledged his commitment to their shared vision of development, with a particular focus on the Bandipora constituency.

Majid also addressed a series of meetings in Bunkoot Block and Nussoo, Tarkpora areas of the Bandipora constituency as part of his ongoing efforts to strengthen his support base and reach every corner of Bandipora. Addressing the gatherings, Majid said, "Our movement is reaching every household in Bandipora, and we are committed to ensuring equitable development across the region."

He also held meetings in Benlipora, Aloosa Ghat, Athwatoo, Weavan, Tangath, and other areas of the Bandipora constituency. These gatherings were part of his ongoing efforts to strengthen his support base and ensure outreach in every corner of Bandipora. Majid reiterated, "Our movement is reaching every household in Bandipora, and we are committed to ensuring equitable development across the constituency."

During these meetings, dozens of political workers from the Congress Party joined forces with Usman Majid. He said that, "Empty rhetoric has no place in Bandipora. The people here are politically conscious and can differentiate between the good and the bad. They have witnessed firsthand what I have done for them, and the growing support is a testament to that."
