NC govt to end misrule: Sadhotra
Jammu, Feb 1: Additional General Secretary of National Conference (NC) and Former Minister Ajay Kumar Sadhotra, today asserted that the Omar Abdullah Government is committed to steer Jammu and Kashmir out of the misrule and mis-governance inflicted by the BJP-led administration over the past decade.
According to a press release, he was addressing a party convention in Udhampur. Sadhotra emphasised that the people of J&K have given a massive mandate to the National Conference, reaffirming their trust in the party’s vision for peace, progress, and prosperity.
Former Minister said the BJP’s decade-long rule in J&K, directly and indirectly, has been marked by instability, economic downturn, unemployment, and a disregard for the aspirations of the people.
This has to be reversed by redoubling efforts for holistic development, economic empowerment of all segments of society, job creation and fast track recruitment process and generating avenues for growth in every sector. He said that the National Conference has always worked for the progress of the people of Jammu and Kashmir and will now work towards undoing the damage caused by the policies of the past 10 years.
