NC- Congress alliance will repeal 890 central laws in J&K: G Kishan Reddy

Jammu,  Sep 22: Senior BJP leader and Union Minister G Kishan Reddy today said  that if the National Conference (NC) and Congress alliance  comes to power it will repeal 890 central laws applicable laws in Jammu and Kashmir.

He said that the e anti-India mindset of the Congress party is now exposed to the country, and the many anti-India statements made by Rahul Gandhi during his recent visit to the United States are proof of this. “The anti-national alliance led by the Congress party has promised to restore Article 370 in its manifesto. It is clear from this that the Congress will repeal the 890 central laws implemented in Jammu and Kashmir and again create the same old situation in Jammu and Kashmir, where terrorist incidents used to happen every day and separatist sentiment was at its peak in the state,” Reddy said.

“Will they now also repeal such laws that guarantee education to the children of the people of the state, and give farmers the right to proper compensation during land acquisition,” he said.

The Union Minister said that NC leader   Omar Abdullah's frequent U-turns show that he is completely scared. “First his decision to not take part in the assembly elections and then his decision to contest from two seats, first his support to Jamaat and now his opposition to it - all these have led to him being called confused,” the BJP leader said.

He stated that the  people of Jammu and Kashmir have now understood that the BJP can establish peace there and open the path to development and the Congress party and its alliance partner National Conference will pay the price for their anti-India mentality. This time the voters of Jammu will teach a lesson to the Congress and its alliance partners, he added.
