Srinagar, Sep 05: The Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) president, Tariq Hameed Karra Thursday said, the JKNC-Congress alliance has disturbed the BJP's chessboard for J&K.

"They think to disempower Kashmiris, they need to fragment the votes, this is why we are seeing leaders coming up from every street and corner," Karra asserted.

He said, people must understand that the level and parameter of the upcoming Assembly elections is way different than past.

"If people lack the judgment in electing the government this time, they will have to face the repercussions for the next 100-years," he told reporters after filing his nomination papers for the Central Shalteng.

Commenting on the BJP leader Ram Madhav's statement that political parties in Kashmir are fielding militants and ex-militants in the upcoming election, Karra said the Madhav is unaware of his own party which he said recruited ex-militants a few years ago.
