NC committed to restoration of statehood: Mustafa Kamal

Srinagar, Jul 1: National Conference Additional General Secretary Dr Sheikh Mustafa Kamal on Thursday held a series of meetings with various public and individual delegations at the party headquarters, Nawa-e-Subha, Srinagar.

As per a party statement, during the interactions, Dr Kamal reaffirmed the party’s “steadfast commitment to the ongoing democratic and constitutional struggle for the restoration of Jammu and Kashmir’s statehood.” He emphasised that the party remains resolute in its efforts to safeguard the rights and dignity of the people of Jammu and Kashmir, it said.

Among others Provincial President Showkat Mir, Provincial Secretary Syed Tawqeer Ahmad, Provincial President Women’s Wing Er. Sabiya Qadri, YNC President Mushtaq Mir, Minority Wing Convenor J.S. Azad, District functionaries from Srinagar: G.N. Tailbali, Dr. Syed, and Qaisar Jalali; District President YNC Srinagar, Irshad Ahmad Anchari were present on the occasion. The delegations raised various public issues and organizational matters, to which Dr. Kamal assured full support and timely redressal. He reiterated that strengthening grassroots connections and public outreach remains a key priority for the party.
