Mysterious object defused in Handwara

Kupwara, Oct 10: A suspicious object was detected and later defused along the Baramulla-Kupwara highway near Thokerpora, Kralgund area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.

Following the discovery of the suspicious object, traffic was suspended on the Baramulla-Kupwara highway.

Later, a bomb disposal squad was called to defuse it.

There were no injuries or reports of damage to life or property during the controlled explosion of the suspicious object attached to a bag.
