Mysterious death of teenager | Protest held at Kotranka

Rajouri, June 28: A protest demonstration was held at Kotranka sub division headquarter of Rajouri after a 15 years old teenage boy was found dead under mysterious conditions.

Rafaqat Ali son of Mohammad Reyaz resident of Kotranka was missing since yesterday while returning from school. His body was recovered from local river on Friday. After recovery of his body, the family members and locals of the area started a protest alleging murder as they sat on dharna in main chowk blocking it for movement of vehicles. They said that five youth were present at the scene of incident yesterday and one of them died which clearly shows that there is some foul play into the incident.

Demanding immediate lodging of FIR of murder, the protesters called for action as per law of land and arrest of accused.

Protest at Kotranka sub division headquarter started at 11 AM and continued till late evening hours after which civil and police administration pacified the protest assuring in-depth investigation.

Movement of vehicles on Rajouri, Kotranka, Budhal road remained suspended for long period due to protest.
