In today’s world, where relations are sustained merely for personal benefits and selfishness but the bond of relation between a child and his mother remains pure and father always backs the bond by investments besides his love and affection. Unfortunately, children are ignoring them and want to surface before those people who do not care more than parents. The bond between you and your parents is spiritually blessed, religiously disciplined and societally limited to some extents. For the society, parents are bonded only to provide a child with good food, education and other facilities by which a job security is attained. In between providing good education and facilities, parents lacks to inculcate a set of obligations, which is crucial during growing phase of a child. In contrary to the recent societal vision on the nourishment of children, the religions does not bond parenting to these extents, whereas, allow parents to engage with their children under the proper responsibilities and rights.

These responsibilities given to parents helps to avoid the recent worst situation— where parents are alone or are residing at old-age homes— which is now adaptation step for those families where parents are touching elderly ages, generally senior citizens. The gradual rise in these incidents and other, where parents are being insulted or parental decision have no sentimental value before their children alarms for distress. When parents are only required only to fill financial requirements and bank balances of their children, then parents are mere like ATM machines, with no emotional attachment.

To handle this fragile situation,we have to act positively but need to consider the worst cases. The valley is populated with muslim population and it is crystal that the more cases are from the same group. With respect to spiritual and religious understanding,we will understand a context of the Holy Qur’an for the rights of parents as well as the rights of parents for their children. The Holy Quran mentions in the chapter Luqman, the advice of Luqman to his son in this regard therein Luqman says: “O my son, fulfill your moral obligation, bid what is known and forbid what is wrong, and bear with passion what befalls you. These are indeed acts of courage and resolve.Do not hold man in comfort, and do not walk with hauteur on the earth.Verily God doesn’t like the proud and boastful.”(31:17 & 18).

The necessity of inculcating discipline and guiding other towards a proper way of prosperous life is emphasized in the Holy Qur’an,which also shows a profound connection between good parenting and a parent’s accountability. The Holy Quran mentions this, pointing on this reality as: “Your wealth and children are surely meant as trial for you”(64:15).

To fix this cause, which is in the beginning stage and is growing silently.Parents as well as the children need proper religious knowledge and soundess.Children should sound themselves with proper religious facts to understand the real glory of the parental decisions and values. While parents must ensure that they deal with their children under the proper religious light to strengthen their bond and safeguard their children from corrupting ideas of social conflicts.
