Must follow PM Modi’s clarion call on self-reliance: Sat Sharma

Jammu, Sep 28: Sat Sharma CA, BJP J&K President has appealed to the party leaders and cadre and the residents of Jammu & Kashmir to follow the mantra of “Atma Nirbhrata and Swadeshi” on the call of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

As per a party release, Jammu & Kashmir Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), under the leadership of its senior leaders and dedicated cadre, actively participated in listening to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 126th episode of Mann Ki Baat, broadcast on Sunday, said a party press release.

The programme was heard with great enthusiasm at the booth level across all districts of Jammu & Kashmir, reinforcing the Prime Minister’s vision of participatory governance and collective responsibility in nation-building. Sat Sharma (CA) joined the programme, where he listened to the address along with party workers and local residents. Sharma emphasised that Mann Ki Baat has become a unique medium through which the Prime Minister connects with every citizen. Sharma said that the Prime Minister’s address touched upon vital issues of social responsibility, environmental sustainability, cultural pride, and citizen-led initiatives that are shaping the New India. He stressed that the PM’s call for public participation in cleanliness drives, tree plantation, and water conservation holds special relevance for the people of Jammu & Kashmir, where natural beauty and resources must be preserved with utmost care.
