Musk deer rescued near LOC in Gurez

Gurez, April 22: A Musk Deer was found entangled in a fence along the Line of Control (LOC) in the Gurez sector.

Officials of the Wildlife Department said that the animal was spotted in the Khopree area by the Indian Army, which informed the authorities.

Following the information, the Wildlife Department, along with J&K Police, reached the location.

The Musk Deer was captured and taken to a veterinary hospital for medical treatment.

After treatment, the Musk Deer was released into the forest.
