Musical, cultural performances mark Jashn-e-Manasbal

Srinagar, Oct 26:Manasbal Dramatics, in collaboration with the JK Academy of Art, Culture and Languages and the Social Welfare Department of Ganderbal, organised Jashn-e-Manasbal at Manasbal Park today.

The District Development Commissioner of Ganderbal, Shyambir was the chief guest, and the District Social Welfare Officer of Ganderbal, Bashir Ahmed, was the guest of honour.

Noted singers Haseena Akhtar and her party, along with Bilal Ahmed Ganai and the Gullposh musical group, presented folk music that left the audience spellbound. Manasbal Dramatics also presented a play addressing social evils, which was highly appreciated by the audience.

Nisar Naseem, a noted writer and broadcaster, delivered the welcome address. He mentioned that the theatre is celebrating its Golden Jubilee this year, as it was established in 1975.

Shams ud-Din thanked the dignitaries and the general public. The programme was anchored by Azhar Nazir.
