Murder accused arrested in Miran Sahib

Jammu, May 22: Police Wednesday stated to have arrested an absconding murder accused, evading arrest for the last nine years, in Miran Sahib, Jammu.

The arrested accused has been identified as Muhammad Mussa, son of Saraj Din of Dak Bungalow, Maralian.

He was involved in case FIR No 56/2015 under Sections 302, 307, and 452 of the Ranbir Penal Code (RPC) of Police Station Kud.

“A team of Police Station Miran Sahib got some vital clues regarding this absconder and his whereabouts yesterday, thereafter the team led by SHO Miran Sahib apprehended the accused, who was later handed over to the police team of Police Station Kud, Udhampur,” Police said.
