Mudslide halts traffic on Rajouri–Thanamandi–Surankote road, later cleared

Rajouri, Aug 24: Traffic on the Rajouri–Thanamandi–Surankote road, a key link to Mughal Road, was suspended for several hours on Sunday after a mudslide blocked the route before authorities cleared the debris and restored movement, officials said.

The sudden blockade caused disruption for vehicles plying the busy route.

However, authorities launched slide clearance work soon and got the slide debris removed and restored the road for movement of vehicles.
