Mubarak Gul holds public darbar
Srinagar, Jan 5: MLA Eidgah, Haji Mubarak Gul, today convened a comprehensive public grievance redressal session at the Community Hall in Gassi Mohalla, Safakadal.
According to a press release, the session witnessed an overwhelming response from the people of the Eidgah Constituency, including residents from both urban and rural areas, who came forward to share their concerns and seek redressal for various issues affecting their daily lives.
Gul patiently listened to the grievances of the public. He emphasised that the current Government, led by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, is firmly committed to addressing the needs and aspirations of the people. He assured the gathering that the concerns raised during the session would be resolved promptly. “Several issues were addressed on the spot, showcasing a proactive and responsive governance model, while other matters requiring inter-departmental coordination were noted for immediate follow-up,” the press release said.
The session was attended by a range of senior officials, including Tehsildar Eidgah, representatives from various departments like SMC, Health, CAPD, KPDCL, R&B,Water Works, Irrigation and Flood Control, Social Welfare, Transport. Their active participation ensured that many grievances were resolved promptly and efficiently during the event. Speaking on the occasion, Mubarak Gul reiterated his unwavering dedication to serving the people of Eidgah Constituency.
He emphasised the importance of such interactive sessions in bridging the gap between the public and their representatives. Gul encouraged the people to continue participating in these forums, ensuring that their voices are heard and their needs are prioritised. He highlighted his vision of ensuring development, progress, and inclusivity across the constituency.
In his address, Mubarak Gul praised the efforts of the Omar Abdullah-led Government in implementing people-friendly policies and initiatives aimed at improving the standard of living for all. He assured the gathering that he would leave no stone unturned in addressing the pressing issues of his constituents, including infrastructure development, health services, education, and employment opportunities.
