MRU SKIMS earns top national ranking in healthcare research

Srinagar, Apr 25: SKIMS as an institution of health care provider and research centre recorded another achievement of excellence by distinguishing itself at the national level.  This time, it is the Multidisciplinary Research Unit (MRU) of the institution which has been rated among the top performing units of the country's healthcare research network.

A statement of SKIMS issued here said that the Department of Health Research (DHR), Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, in its comparative assessment has given the ranking making the institution proud.

In this regard, a high level team from the DHR, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, GoI, headed by the Joint Secretary Richa Khoda was on a visit to SKIMS on April 18, 2024, to review the overall performance of the MRU SKIMS.
