MP Ruhullah dismisses rumours of his resignation from NC

Srinagar, Oct 15: Member of Parliament from Srinagar and JKNC leader Aga Ruhullah Mehdi on Tuesday dismissed the rumours of his resignation from the party.

Earlier on Tuesday, rumours spread about his resignation following a post on the Internet which said that there are rifts between the party's vice president and CM-designate Omar Abdullah and Mehdi following the formers remarks on Article-370.

However, today afternoon, the MP's media spokesperson termed the rumours as completely baseless.

"There are rumors suggesting that Aga Ruhullah Mehdi, Member of Parliament in the Lok Sabha, is planning to resign from the Jammu and Kashmir National Conference. I would like to clarify that this is entirely false and without any basis. I urge everyone to avoid spreading such misinformation," said the spokesperson.
