MP Mian Altaf expresses grief over loss of lives in Reasi, Ramban tragedies

Srinagar, Apr 20: National Conference (NC) senior leader and Member of Parliament, Mian Altaf Ahmad Sunday expressed his grief over the two deaths of a nomadic family due to lightning strikes in Reasi district. He also expressed his grief over Ramban landslide tragedy in which three people have lost their lives.

In a statement issued, Mian Altaf expressed his grief over the deaths and offered condolences to the family who lost their two family members in natural lightning incident.

“Two people have lost their lives due to lightning in Reasi area on Saturday following the inclement weather besides dozens of their livestock perished in the incident of natural lightening that hit Jhameri village of Dansal in Reasi district where a nomadic family were putting up” the statement said.

He urged the administration to provide immediate relief and compensation to the affected family.

He also expressed grief over the loss of lives in the Ramban district due to inclement weather.
