MP Mian Altaf calls for thorough investigation into youth’s death in Kathua

Jammu, February 6: National Conference (NC) Member of Parliament Mian Altaf Ahmed has expressed shock over the mysterious death of a 25-year-old youth, Makhan Din, in the Billawar area of Kathua district.

In a statement, Mian Altaf described the incident as deeply concerning, emphasizing that reports surrounding the youth’s death raise serious questions.

He called for a thorough and swift investigation to ensure accountability and justice for the victim.

"There should be a speedy investigation, and those guilty should be punished," he stated.

The MP also urged authorities to provide compensation to the victim's family.
