MP Mian Altaf anguished over killing of youth in alleged police firing in Jammu

Srinagar, July 25: National Conference Member of Parliament, Mian Altaf Ahmed has expressed his anguish and grief over the death of a youth in Jammu area in alleged police firing yesterday.

In a statement, Mian Altaf strongly condemned the killing of Mohammad Parvez, a resident of Niki Tawi Jammu and sought a fast track investigation into the incident and strict action against the police officials involved.

"It is a broad daylight murder of the youth; the administration should investigate it and those involved in the killing should be dealt with strongly," read the statement.

Mian Altaf termed such incidents unfortunate and unacceptable.

He also expressed solidarity and sympathy with the victim's family and prayed for peace to the departed soul. He assured all possible help to the family of the youth killed in police firing.
