MoS George Kurian inaugurates training programme for Haj 2025 deputationists
New Delhi, Apr 22: Minister of State for Minority Affairs, George Kurian, today inaugurated a two-day orientation-cum-training programme for officials deputed for Haj 2025.
The session, held on April 22–23, is designed to equip the deputationists, comprising both administrative and medical personnel with the necessary skills and knowledge to ensure the smooth conduct of the pilgrimage.
Addressing the participants, Secretary of the Ministry of Minority Affairs, Dr. Chandra Shekhar Kumar, and Joint Secretary (Haj), C.P.S. Bakshi, extended a warm welcome and urged the deputationists to contribute to the success of Haj 2025 through dedicated and compassionate service. A total of 620 individuals have been selected for this important assignment, which plays a crucial role in facilitating the pilgrimage experience for Indian Hajis. The training sessions will focus on capacity building, logistics management, and healthcare preparedness.
