MMU criticises ‘derogatory’ remarks against scholars

Srinagar, Dec 7: The Muttahida Majlis-e-Ulama (MMU) Jammu and Kashmir has criticised  the alleged derogatory remarks against scholars particularly Muhaddith-e-Kabeer Allama Anwar Shah Kashmiri (RA), a press release said.

In its statement, the MMU said such actions neither serve the collective interests of the people nor have any place in our society. “Reiterating its principled stance, the MMU said that promoting unity and harmony among all sects and religious groups within the community remains its top priority,” the statement added.
