MLA Zadibal provides relief to road accident victim

Srinagar, Jul 23: MLA Zadibal Tanvir Sadiq and Chief Spokesperson of the J&K National Conference, today visited the bereaved family of Ali Mohammad Joo, a young resident of Nabdipora, Zadibal, who tragically lost his life in a road accident at Khomeni Chowk, Bemina.

Expressing profound grief over the untimely loss, Tanvir Sadiq offered heartfelt condolences to the family, stating, “No words can ease the pain of losing a loved one, especially one so young. But we are committed to standing by the family during this immensely difficult time.”

In a gesture of immediate support, and on the instructions of Hon’ble Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, Tanvir Sadiq handed over a relief cheque of Rs 2 lakh from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund to the Next of Kin (NOK) of the deceased.

He further assured the family that an additional financial assistance of same amount will be provided shortly through the District Red Cross Fund, with the support of the Deputy Commissioner’s office.

“This relief cannot compensate for a life lost, but it is a step to ensure that the family receives some financial support to cope with this tragedy. We will continue to extend all possible help,” Sadiq said.
