MLA Surankote inspects Jougi Mour–TCP road upgradation work

Poonch, Nov 3: Member Legislative Assembly Surankote, Chowdhary Mohd Akram Monday conducted a surprise inspection of the ongoing road upgradation work on the Jougi Mour–TCP stretch to assess the pace and quality of the project.

During the inspection, the MLA emphasised the importance of maintaining high construction standards and directed the concerned authorities to ensure timely completion of the work without any compromise on quality.

He further instructed officials to put in place a proper drainage system to prevent future waterlogging and damage to the road infrastructure.

Addressing on-site concerns, MLA Akram resolved several pending issues to ensure that the project continued smoothly and benefitted commuters at the earliest.

People from the area also met the legislator on this occasion focussing on the need to ensure timely completion of this road, highlighting the importance of this road stretch and heavy volume of traffic over it.
