MLA Rajouri donates blood amid border tension

Rajouri, May 7: Member Legislative Assembly (MLA) Rajouri, Iftikhar Ahmed, donated blood at Government Medical College (GMC) Rajouri along with his supporters.

The initiative comes in response to the recent situation that has emerged along the Line of Control (LoC), which has led to multiple injuries requiring urgent medical attention. Before donating blood, the MLA visited the injured individuals admitted to the hospital, inquiring about their well-being and assuring them of all possible support.

He instructed the hospital administration to remain vigilant and ensure that the injured civilians receive timely and the best possible medical treatment. Following the visit, he proceeded to donate blood himself, setting a strong example of civic responsibility and humanitarian commitment.

Addressing the media, Iftikhar Ahmed appealed to the public to come forward and donate blood, emphasising the urgent need to support the medical efforts during this critical time. He stated, "We are ready to sacrifice everything for the integrity and sovereignty of the nation. The nation comes first, and we stand united to face any challenges that come our way."
