MLA Khanyar inaugurates ENT theatre at Govt Gousia Hospital Srinagar
Srinagar, Aug 25: National Conference (NC) General Secretary and Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) from Khanyar, Ali Mohammad Sagar today inaugurated ENT theatre at Government Gousia Hospital in Khanyar locality of Srinagar, to enable critical ENT surgeries for underprivileged patients.
He engaged with patients and staff, pledging ongoing support, and announced Rs 15 lakh from Constituency Development Fund (CDF) to enhance healthcare services.
Sagar also visited Khwaja Naqshband Sahib (RA) Shrine to review Urs-e-Mubarak preparations, directing officials to fast-track Rs 2.90 crore restoration (total Rs 4.85 Cr) by PWD (R&B Core, Archaeology Deptt.) to preserve its heritage.
He urged for swift macadamisation of interiors of Khanyar area at the occasion.
While offering Fatiha at Mazar-e-Shuhada and obeisance at the shrine, he emphasized its spiritual significance, showcasing his commitment to cultural preservation and infrastructure in Khanyar.
