MLA Khanyar chairs Public Undertakings Committee meeting in Srinagar, reviews ongoing infrastructure projects

Srinagar, July 22: Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (JKNC) General Secretary and MLA Khanyar, Ali Mohammad Sagar who also serves as Chairman of the Public Undertakings Committee, presided over a key meeting with the Public Works Department today.

The meeting was attended by senior most officials including Anil Kumar Singh, Pr. Secretary PWD; Manoj Kumar Pandit, Secretary J&K Legislative Assembly; Fayaz Ahmad Lone, DG, Accounts and Treasuries; Mazhar Khan, Director Finance (PWD); Sajad Hussain Ganai, Director Expenditure (Finance) and Principal Accountant General.

The meeting focused on reviewing ongoing infrastructure projects, ensuring timely completion, and addressing critical issues to enhance public welfare.

Sagar emphasized the importance of quality, transparency, and accountability in PWD initiatives, urging officials to prioritize public convenience and sustainable development. Discussions included road upgrades, bridge constructions, and urban planning to boost connectivity and accessibility across the region.

As Chairman, Sagar reaffirmed his commitment to overseeing efficient use of resources and fostering collaboration for impactful results.
