The artworks, crafted entirely from waste paper, binding‑wire armatures and colour, interact with the temple’s weathered arches to give voice to stories embedded in its walls, said a press release.

The event was inaugurated by the JK Scion of the Dogra Royal Family and senior BJP leader, former Minister and Trustee of Dharmarth Trust, MK Ajatshatru Singh. During the ceremony, Singh met students, elders and other attendees, engaging in warm conversation and praising their effort to reconnect with Dogra heritage, culture and languages.

“The main objective of this exhibition is to connect generations and explore our heritage, which is unfortunately dying. That is why we chose this sacred temple rather than a crowded venue – to let the ancient stones speak,” Singh told the media.

Jamwal, who curated the exhibition, added “The sculptures are made up of paper – especially waste paper – and we can make our heritage more vibrant by it.
