Mizoram wins National Award for excellence in DigiLocker implementation

New Delhi, Nov 4: Mizoram has won a National Award for outstanding performance in DigiLocker implementation, conferred by the National e-Governance Division (NeGD) of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology at a national conference held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi.

The recognition follows Mizoram’s significant progress in digital governance under the leadership of Amit Sharma, Secretary, Information & Communications Technology Department. Mizoram state has touched new heights and set the highest standards in terms of Information, Technology and Communications sector over the last one year, after Amit Sharma took over the role as Administrative Secretary of the department.

A team led by Principal Informatics Officer Pu Ringa Ralte and State e-Mission Team Head Pu Bikiran Mohapatra received the award on behalf of the state.
