Missiles fired by Iran struck inside Israel air bases, no damage: Israeli military
Srinagar, Oct 02: Israel’s military has said that several missiles fired by Iran hit inside Israeli air force bases but did not cause any casualties or damage.
“During the Iranian attack yesterday [Tuesday], several missiles fell within Israeli air force bases. No offensive infrastructure or capabilities located on IAF [Israel Air Force] bases were damaged,” the military said, as per Al Jazeera.
It added that no casualties or damage to aircraft were reported in the attack, without specifying which bases.
As per Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), missiles were fired at Israel in response to deadly Israeli attacks against people in Gaza and Lebanon, as well as the assassinations of top IRGC, Hamas and Hezbollah leaders.
Alarms sounded in Israel on Tuesday evening as the missiles fell on major cities and towns.
Israel and its top ally, the United States, said their respective militaries worked together to shoot down most of the nearly 200 projectiles that were fired by Iran.
