Mir Junaid holds road show in Langate
Kupwara, Sep 22: Jammu and Kashmir Workers Party President Mir Junaid Sunday led a road show starting from his home in Main Town Langate, drawing in hundreds of enthusiastic youths, seniors, and party workers.
Hundreds of vehicles which were part of road show travelled to different villages of Langate constituency showcasing Mir's strength and commitment to the community.
Mir later addressed a gathering at Qalamabad Mawer during which he castigated Engineer Rashid for his plebiscite stance, saying that he has been playing with the sentiments of people. "Since Kashmir issue stands resolved permanently now, so Engineer Rashid should stop befooling people by saying that he will resolve Kashmir issue," he said.
Mir said that Engineer Rashid was voted to power recently but he has sold the trust and votes of people. "Instead of playing sentiment card, Engineer Rashid should work for the redressal of hardships being faced by people. He should stop talking about Kashmir issue," he said.
"Engineer Rashid has been strong advocate of holding plebiscite but that is missing in his party manifesto. He should stop playing with the sentiments of people and stop befooling them" he said.
Mir said that Engineer Rashid would always talk against dynasty politics but his position stands badly exposed now as he gave mandate to his younger brother who is contesting assembly elections from Langate constituency.
