Minor girl killed in leopard attack in Tral

Srinagar, Sep 11: A 4-year-old girl was killed in a leopard attack in the Gulshanpora area of Tral in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Wednesday.

Officials said that a girl was attacked and taken away by a leopard when she was outside her home in the Gulshanpora area.

The girl was found dead in a nearby area after a team of Police and locals had started searches for the missing minor girl.

She was identified as Riyan, 4, daughter of Arshid Ahmad Bhat of Gulshanpora Tral.

Meanwhile, people have urged the Wildlife Department to nab the leopard as it poses a threat to human lives.
