Mines explode during fire in Mendhar

Poonch, Dec 19: A couple of anti personnel land mines exploded during forest fire in areas along Line of Control (Loc) in Mendhar sub division of Poonch district.

Fire broke out in bushes area of Gohlad, Rehallian along LoC and bushes spread in several acres of land got engulfed in fire flames.

In the fire incident, a couple of anti personnel land mines exploded and explosions were heard in the areas.
