Migrant mechanic hangs himself to death in Kashmir's Ganderbal

Srinagar, Oct 07: A migrant labourer from India's northern state of Uttar Pradesh allegedly killed himself in Arampora area of central Kashmir's Ganderbal, reports said Monday.

Quoting an official, news agency NVI reported that the deceased, a mechanic by profession, was found hanging in his rented room. Police rushed to the scene and confirmed the death.

The body is being shifted to District Hospital Ganderbal for medico-legal formalities and autopsy, he said

Police have taken cognizance of the incident, he said.
