Migrant labourer killed, another injured in Anantnag road accident

Anantnag, Sep 22: A man died while another was injured in a road accident that took place Sunday afternoon in Mattan area of south Kashmir's Anantnag, reports said.

Quoting an official, news agency KNO reported that two migrant workers were injured after being hit by a car. As they were being shifted to a hospital, one among them, identified as Bhuneshwar Bhulyan succumbed to his injuries.

The other, identified as Mohammad Syed Ansari is undergoing treatment at GMC Anantnag, said the official.

Both the labourers are from the eastern Indian state of Jharkhand, he said.

The official said that the police have taken cognizance of the accident.
