MeT predicts moderate snow over higher reaches in Kashmir today

Srinagar, Mar 10: The Meteorological department on Monday predicted light to moderate rains and snow over higher reaches of Kashmir parts including Kupwara, Bandipora and Ganderbal today.

A MeT official told that there is a possibility of intermittent light to moderate rains and snow at many places with moderate snowfall over higher reaches of Kupwara, Bandipora and Ganderbal parts.

He said from March 11 to16 there is a possibility of light rains and snow at many places in Jammu and Kashmir.

The official predicted dry weather in J&K from March 17 to 21.

He advised travelers, tourists and transporters to stick to advisories being issued by administration and traffic department to avoid inconvenience. He also advised farmers to suspend farm operations till March 16.
