MeT predicts dry weather in J&K till Dec 21

Srinagar, Dec 13: The Meteorological Centre Srinagar Friday predicted dry weather conditions in Jammu and Kashmir till December 21.

However it said that cold wave conditions will prevail over many stations of J&K during next four-days.

The weather will remain generally dry on December 13 & 14, while cloudy weather conditions likely to hover over J&K on December 15, an official of Meteorological Centre Srinagar said.

He said during December 16-17, the weather conditions will remain dry.

During December 18-21, the weather conditions will remain generally cloudy with mainly dry weather, he said.

The official added that cold wave conditions over many stations of J&K will remain likely during next four-days.

In view of fresh snowfall, the sub-freezing temperature and icy conditions over roads of important passes and higher reaches, the official advised tourists, travelers, and transporters to follow advisory from administration and traffic department in order to avoid inconvenience.
