MeT forecasts dry weather in Jammu and Kashmir from tomorrow

Srinagar, Mar 27: The Meteorological department today forecast dry weather in Jammu and Kashmir from March 28.

An official said that a spell of light to moderate rains and snow over higher reaches at many places, mainly over north and central Kashmir likely to occur towards March 27 afternoon till night, and gradual improvement thereafter.

He said there is a possibility of thunder with gusty winds at few places in Kashmir today.

The official advised travelers, tourists and transporters to plan their travel accordingly and follow advisories from administration and traffic department strictly. The official also advised farmers to resume farm operations from tomorrow onwards.

The weather will likely remain dry from March 28 to April 6, the official added.
