MeT Baghat to conduct Children’s Art Festival 2025 on Feb 16
Srinagar, Feb 13: M.E.T Baghat is organising MET Children’s Art Festival 2025, a vibrant celebration of creativity, culture, and community, commemorating 55 years of its educational legacy on February 16.
The organisers said the event will be held from 10 am to 4:30 pm at the MET Baghat Campus in Srinagar. This festival invites artists, students, and local communities to engage in artistic expression and cultural dialogue.
The event's highlight is an art competition centered on the theme 'Threads of the Past – The Essence of Who We Are,' encouraging participants to explore personal and cultural heritage through their creations. Open to students from all schools, the competition features two categories:
Category A (Class 8th - 12th): Theme: 'Echoes from the Past: Memory, Joy, and Heritage.' Prizes: ?10,000 (1st), ?6,000 (2nd), ?3,000 (3rd).
Category B (Class Pre-Nursery to 7th): Theme: 'My Home, My World.' All participants in category B will create individual and collective artworks, with gifts for all.
