MES worker found hanging in Samba

Jammu, July 30: A civilian worker at Military Engineer Services (MES) power station was found hanging inside his room in Bari Brahmana camp on Sunday.

Officials identified the deceased worker as Sunil Kumar, 22, a resident of Batala. “Primarily, he seemed to have committed a suicide by hanging himself with a rope tagged to a ceiling fan inside the room. However, inquest proceedings have been initiated after registering a case,” they said.
