Men too have a point

Isn’t there a difference of opinion or even a clashe between a daughter's father and daughter's mother before marriage? Why we exaggerate and highlight if there is a clash between husband and wife? Why divorce is only meant for the unfruitful husband wife relationship?

Here are some points on the importance of a healthy relationship, concept of equality, cruelty and misuse of laws in our country.

1. A) Marriage in India is Sacrosanct. It is sacred and a cherished institution. We are Pro Marriage not a Pro Divorce country. Wives after a certain period of marriage start complaining their husbands that they don’t vibe anymore with them, there is no compatibility amongst them. The reason you get to hear is that husbands are not good with their in laws.

As per my understanding after a certain period of marriage you become familiar with your partner, you extend your family. It’s as good as you become familiar with one of your favourite old tee-shirt.

We talk about equality everywhere. Women are protected with Mahila Court, Women Cell, Women Helpline Number, Women Police .... What about men? Do we ignore them because of their masculinity? Irrespective of gender, females talk about equality. When women reservation bill came these were the same women who supported this bill without considering the men. Where is the equality? Married women suicides have default arrests of the in-laws under presumed dowry death but married men suicides entitle wife for a 50% share in the property. What kind of equality is this? Equality is a dynamic concept which goes on changing with changing times and social contexts, and must be understood in that sense.

There is no entity in a country of 1.4 billion where anybody has gathered data about the suffering of men from Domestic Violence Cases. 1,64,033 males, between 35- 45, have committed suicide in 2021 due to family issues aged.

There are no laws for men in our country. Most of the women have misused these laws like 498 A, DV, sexual harassment, molestation, stalking against men. Few incidents like where a woman like Suchana Seth CEO of Artifical Intelligence company was accused of murdering her 4 year old son in Goa to prevent her estranged husband from meeting their son as part of visitation rights from the court. In Bihar a woman hatched a plan with her sister to strangle her husband after he objected her in making insta reel on viral songs. Bhawna Sharma from Jaipur who misused the laws, ruined the lives and careers of men by marrying them with the intention of earning money by filing false cases against them. She had filed 16 FIRs in which 12 FIRs got settled through out of court settlement.

In a 21st century advanced world, a fancy lawyer entertains the working class women to file allegedly false complaints against their spouse. Even today ground of cruelty is widely not accepted by the court with respect to men in our Judicial System.

Now the Question is that how we can save our marriage from breakup?

1. Communicate with your Partner: Ego is the biggest enemy. Abort ego, be humble and save your relationship
2. Never Involve relatives: They remember the thing till they reach their graveyard.
3. Fight for Men Commission and encourage activists like Barkha Trehan, Deepika Bharadwaj, Monica Garkhel, Shonee Kapoor. Films like The Curse of Manhood, One Sided Love, Martyrs of Marriage should be screened in film festivals, Men day should be celebrated all across the nation.
