Mela Kheer Bhawani a symbol of unity, resilience : Arhan Bagati

Tulmulla, Jun 3: Youth leader and KYARI founder Arhan Bagati on Tuesday said that the Mela Kheer Bhawani is a powerful symbol of unity and resilience. Bagati visited the Mata Kheer Bhawani temple in Tulmulla Ganderbal on the occasion of Mela Kheer Bhawani. Bagati paid obeisance at the Mata Kheer Bhawani temple and also interacted with the devotees.

On the occasion, Bagati said that Kheer Bhawani Mela is a symbol of unity and resilience, adding that it is heartening to see a large number of devotees including people from different religions participating in the annual mela, which shows Kashmir’s unity and resilience. He said the mela also reflects communal harmony, as local Muslim residents often assist in the preparations, showcasing the spirit of brotherhood and shared heritage in the valley.

He also expressed satisfaction over the arrangements made by the administration for the mela and said that the terror attack in Pahalgam couldn’t break the communal harmony and Hindu-Muslim bonhomie here.
