Mehbooba Mufti offers condolences to ex-MLA Faqeer Mohammad Khan’s family in Kangan

Kangan, Mar 21: Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) president Mehbooba Mufti on Friday visited the Kangan area in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district to offer condolences to the family of former MLA Gurez and BJP leader Faqeer Mohammad Khan.

Khan had allegedly died by suicide at his official residence in the Tulsibagh locality of Srinagar on Thursday.

Mufti met the family members and relatives of Khan in Kangan and expressed her condolences. She was accompanied by senior party leader Bashir Ahmad Mir and others.

Earlier, thousands of people attended the funeral prayers of Faqeer Khan in Kangan, where he was later laid to rest.
